Built in 1976, the Arts and Sciences Center (S) building is a 3-story building housing the Kingsborough Art Museum (KAM), the Art Gallery, the Environmental Health and Safety office, the Physical Therapist Assistant Program office, several academic Departmental offices (Art; Biological Sciences; Physical Sciences), two large lecture rooms, several specialized science labs, computer labs and classrooms. It covers a ground floor area of 44,300 square feet, with a total gross area of 103,200 square feet and a total net floor area of 63,441 square feet.
