Counseling & ESL Services [D-102]

What is the Counseling Center?

The Counseling Center at Kingsborough Community College offers free and confidential personal counseling services to all currently enrolled students.

This service is specifically geared to helping students with personal and emotional issues that are interfering with achieving their academic goals.

Appointments are required for individual counseling sessions with exceptions such as walk-in; crisis intervention, and emergency services for students who feel they need to be seen immediately.

While we understand that college can be a time to have fun, make connections, learn and grow both personally and professionally, it can also be very stressful. It takes personal strength to recognize that you might need help and it takes courage to ask for help. Please know that you can come to us.
